DATAHUB-IX ("we", "our") operates the website datahub-ix.net and the AS202192 switching fabric. This policy describes what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR and equivalent law.
1. Data we collect
- Member onboarding — company name, ASN, billing address, technical contact name and email, signed agreements.
- Operational — port stats (octets, packets, errors), MAC and IP addresses observed on the fabric, route-server BGP session state.
- Website analytics — anonymised page views, country, user-agent. We do *not* use third-party trackers or marketing cookies.
- Support — ticket content, email correspondence, call recordings only if both parties opt in.
2. Why we collect it
- To deliver and bill the Service (lawful basis: contract).
- To investigate operational issues and AUP violations (legitimate interest).
- To comply with legal obligations and law-enforcement requests (legal obligation).

4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with: (a) payment processors (Stripe), (b) carrier-grade DDoS partners on activation, (c) law enforcement upon valid legal request. A list of subprocessors is available on request to [email protected].
5. Your rights
Under GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Exercise these by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
6. Security
Personal data is stored in encrypted-at-rest form in Swiss and EU jurisdictions. Production access is limited to operations engineers authenticated via hardware tokens (FIDO2). All access is audit-logged.
7. Cookies
datahub-ix.net uses only first-party functional cookies (session, CSRF). No advertising or analytics cookies are set without explicit opt-in.
